SoCal Rock & Roll Code Camp - 6/24 - 6/25

The SoCal Rock & Roll Code Camp will be going off again in a few weeks (6/24 - 25).  Back at UC San Diego-Extension for the annual weekend extravaganza of diverse technology and dev content and the coolest kids in the San Diego tech community :-)

If you're interest in learning some new stuff or checking out a short talk on a something you're exploring, come on out.  At least go give the session list a browse (check the "Sessions" tab and scan the tag cloud on the right).  There are already a ton of proposed sessions posted on the site.  A few BI-related sessions on SQL 2012 and Microsoft BI.  As well as dozens of sessions in areas like .NET dev, mobile dev, NoSQL, Agile, Testing, and many more.

Best to pre-register to make sure you get a spot.  And tag sessions you're interested in to make sure they get into the final session draw.  Keep an eye on the site over the next few weeks as things get finalized.  Very likely there'll be more sessions posted, and hopefully a few more BI-related sessions too.

I may even try to whip up a session to present if I can finish off a few other projects in time.  We'll see.  At the very least, I'm planning on heading over there to see some friends and check out a few sessions.  Should be a good time, so hope to see some of you guys there.

UPDATE:
I just pulled the trigger and posted a session about PowerPivot and AS Tabular.  Check it out here.  Should be a fast and furious hour of demos to show off a bunch of the new SQL 2012 xVelocity (formerly known as Vertipaq) engine capabilities.
